START WITH THE PHOTO
A better likeness starts with a readable reference.
Cheriby uses the visible coat, face, ears, tail, and overall character as the identity reference. You review the look and movement poses before final rendering; difficult source photos remain less predictable.
A useful reference
- Even light with a clear face and coat
- Your pet is the main subject
- A front or natural three-quarter view
- No heavy filters, stickers, or text overlays
Real limits
- No model can promise a perfect hair-by-hair replica
- Occlusion, clothing, or multiple subjects add uncertainty
- Available species and actions follow the live studio catalog
Review the likeness before the expensive movement work.
Each step keeps the same pet identity in view. No drawing or animation skills are required.

DESKTOP DELIVERY
The result is a moving companion, not a single image.
A finished package contains the visual identity, movements, and runtime description used by the desktop client. Current downloads and platform availability are shown by the live release service.
macOS
The Cheriby client is available for Macs with Apple silicon. An Intel Mac download is not currently available.
A living action catalog
Species and movements change as reviewed actions are published; the studio is the source of truth.
Clear limits make a better custom result.
What kind of photo works best?
Use an evenly lit photo where your pet is the clear subject and the face and body outline are readable. Heavy filters, occlusion, tiny subjects, or several pets add uncertainty.
Which pets and movements are supported?
Cat, dog, rabbit, chinchilla, bird, and hamster entries are available. The creation page shows the current published actions and purchase availability for each species.
Does it work on Windows and Mac?
Cheriby client downloads are available for Windows and Macs with Apple silicon. An Intel Mac download is not currently available. Check the download page for current system requirements.
How much does a custom desktop pet cost?
The Starter Package costs US$6.90 and includes three starter animations. Additional standard animations cost US$1 each and advanced animations cost US$2 each. Purchases are one-time payments with no automatic renewal. Visit /pricing/ for details; any applicable tax and the final total appear before payment.
Is a perfect likeness guaranteed?
No. The system uses the photo as an identity reference and gives you review points before final rendering, but input quality, unusual features, and model limits affect the result.
